Eligibility for BEd Admission

B.Ed admission 2023 eligibility differs from one college to another. The following are the criteria for pursuing a BEd course:

• Students must have a minimum of 50% marks in bachelor’s degree or master’s degree at the time of applying for the B.Ed Entrance Test or B.Ed admission.
• B.E / B.Tech candidates must have received at least 55% in their degree.
• Students with Science/ Math as one of their subjects or with an equivalent degree may apply for admission to the program.
• Applicants from SC/ ST/ BC/ PH must achieve a minimum of 40% to 45% (approx) in their qualifying examinations.
• Students in their final year of a bachelor’s degree or higher are also eligible to apply.

Which colleges provide B.ED program in Delhi?

Bachelor of Education is a UG-level course with 3 to 6 years in Delhi. There are several Universities that offer this BEd course. DU SOL, YCMOU, Jamia Millia Islamia, IGNOU, Kurukshetra University, Maharishi Dayanand University etc.

Jamia Millia Islamia BEd Distance Education?

BEd Distance education registration begins at Jamia Millia Islamia. The deadline for registration was 20 February 2023. The JMI Entrance exam was held on 05 March 2023. Students with a UG degree, with 50%, are eligible for this course. 5% of relaxation for Sc/ST/OBC students. The registration fee for BEd is Rs 1500/-, and the total fee is Rs 20,000/- at Jamia Millia Islamia.

IGNOU BEd Distance Education?

IGNOU offers a Bachelor of Education with a 2 to 5 years duration. Candidates who have a UG or PG degree in Science/ Social Science, Commerce, Humanity, or any other relevant course can easily apply for this course. The total fee for BEd Distance education is Rs 55,000 at Indira Gandhi National Open University. Apart from that students also have to attend regular classes for the IGNOU BEd course. 

Bharathiar University BEd Distance Education?

BEd Distance Education admission will start on 30 September 2023 (tentatively) at Bharathiar University. Candidates must have 2 years of teaching experience or have a UG degree. The total fee for Bharathiar University BEd Distance Education is Rs 42,000. The duration of this distance BEd is 2 to 5 years at this university.

YCMOU BEd Distance Education 

Session 2023-24 YCMOU Admission process will be started soon for BEd Distance education learning. The expected last date will be 30 September 2023. In order to get admission, candidates must complete their bachelor’s degree program from a well-known university with at least 50% marks. Candidates are allowed to submit application forms online at the YCMOU portal.

MKU BEd Distance Education 

The MKU BEd Registration will close on 30 September 2023, for the July 2023 session. Those candidates who have UG degrees with 45% easily can apply for BEd admission at Madurai Kamaraj University.
