In India, UGC and DEB do not approve MEd degrees in distance mode. Admission to the regular MEd program is based on merit and entrance exam scores. A merit list is based on graduate scores. MEd Distance Education IGNOU?
The university does not offer MEd Distance Education at IGNOU University for the 2024-25 academic calendar. So, Whoever is curious to take admission, can go to some other university. To be eligible, a candidate should have passed BEd with 55% marks from any UGC-approved university. Apart from this, 2 years of teaching experience after completing the BEd is also required.
The MEd course duration is 2 years and is further divided into 4 semesters. The medium of the M.Ed in distance education course is English. MEd courses fee is Rs. 36,000 for the entire program of two years.
MEd Distance Education In Osmania University?
The university does not conduct the course in distance mode. The MEd course can be completed in regular mode only. Students who have completed the BEd course will be eligible for admission to the MEd course at Osmania University. The course can be completed in 2 years.

Ans: No, Students who want to be admitted to MEd through Distance Education can’t take it because NCTE has not given the approval to any university to offer MEd courses in Distance Education.
