PUPDDE admission 2024 will be starting soon for the 2024 session. The University Distance Education Admission offers MA (Information Technology), BA, MA (Arts), B.com and M.Com (commerce), Diploma (Bibliography, HIV/AIDS Consulting, and many more subjects. The centre manages 34 multi-disciplinary degree programs. To be eligible for this course, you must have a 12th-grade completion with 50% overall marks. The PG candidates should have a bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 45% marks. All the course fees are between INR 5000 to 15000/- (depending on the subjects)

Punjabi University DDE offers admission to numerous distance undergraduate, diploma, and postgraduate programs. All the distance programs of PUDDE are approved by UGC-DEB. The UGC also granted five-year approval for the academic season 2024.
Punjabi University Distance UG and PG course Admission 2024-25
Undergraduate (UG) Course Admission Distance Education:
- Bachelor of Arts (BA) is offered in various fields. Applicants for this program must pass class XII with a minimum of 40% marks.
- Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) students need to have passed class 12th and obtained at least 40% marks.
- In the Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com) program, one must pass the class 10+2 exam and attain not less than 40% marks.
- Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA) applicants must pass 10+2 with a mark of 40% or higher.
- Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) aspirants should have at least a graduation degree in any stream with 50% marks.
- Bachelor of Library & Information Science (B.Lib. & In. Sci.) Program applicants are required to pass the 12th class with a score of 40% marks or above.
Eligibility for UG Admission: To qualify for most undergraduate distance learning programs through Punjabi University, an applicant must have achieved a passing grade in their 12th standard exams with a score between 40-50% of the total marks.
PG Course Distance education with Specializations:
- Master of Arts (MA) offered in multiple disciplines. The program requires applicants to have successfully passed the graduation degree (BA) and obtain a score higher than 50%.
- Master of Arts (Education) applicants need to have passed a BA or BEd degree and attained a mark of at least 50%.
- Master of Commerce (M.Com.) one must have cleared a B.Com degree and attained over 50% marks.
- Master of Library & Information Science (M.Lib. Info. Sci) aspirants need to pass BLibSc with at least 50% marks.
- The Master of Science in Information & Technology (M.Sc.[IT]) program requires applicants who hold a BSc IT or equivalent degree with a 50% score.
