MG University Distance Education UG Admission?

Mahatma Gandhi University Meghalaya offers various courses under the UG program, such as BA, BBA, BSc, BCom: BCA, LLB, etc. BCA students who have not studied mathematics at the 10+2 level will need to take a 90-hour Foundation Course to receive their BCA degree.

The minimum eligibility students have to pass 12th in the relevant stream from any recognized university/board. Mahatma Gandhi University Meghalaya Distance Education offered various courses under the PG programs such as MA, MSc, MCom, LLM, etc. The application deadline for PG programs at affiliated colleges will be announced soon.

The minimum eligibility for students is to pass a Bachelor’s degree in any stream from a recognized university. Admission to all courses offered by MG University is on a merit basis, as well as an entrance examination. The application form process takes place online on the university’s official website. 

MCom: Master of Arts course is 2 years long. While pursuing the course, students will learn about different specializations like accounting, management, finance, and many others. In order to get admission to the MCom Distance Education course, students have to complete the bachelor’s degree course from a recognized university with at least 50 percent marks. 

MSc: For the admission to Master of Science course, applicants should complete the BSc or any equivalent degree from a discipline university with 50% marks. In the course, applicants get to learn about each topic.

MA: Mahatma Gandhi University offers Master of Arts programs in various specializations such as MA Hindi, MA English, MA History, MA Political Science, and so on.

All of the specializations are available in regular mode only because UGC has not given the approval to offer these programs in distance mode. Admission for regular courses will start soon, and the application form will be available on the official website. MG University charges INR 10,000 to INR 15,000 annually for the distance MA program.
