The admission procedure at the SGVU is student-friendly and easy. Students can download the academic prospectus to get all the detailed information regarding admission and for the guidance related to admission procedure. Once you meet all the basic criteria, you can then proceed to apply for the course of your choice. After filling out an online application form with required documents students can pay an application fee. The application fee for all programs is set to be INR 750 that can be payable using credit or debit card, UPI, NEFT, and RTGS. The admission is presently ongoing for the academic session 2024-25 for all programs. SGVU DDE has set the last date for admission to be 31 December 2024. 

SGVU Distance Education Eligibility Criteria

Students who are applying for any undergraduate or postgraduate programs at SGVU distance education shall ensure they meet all the basic admission criteria. One can choose to apply for BA, BBA, BCom, MBA, MCom, and MCA courses in multiple disciplines. To get admission one shall download the academic prospectus and read all the points carefully. The merit-based admission is granted to candidates who are willing to apply at SGVU DDE. The university does not accept any entrance exam for admission. • Having a bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 50% in any relevant stream can get you allotted to postgraduate programs.

SGVU Distance Education UG Admission 2024

Suresh Gyan Vihar University distance education offers undergraduate courses like BBA, BCom, and BA in Journalism and Mass Communication. The candidates have to ensure that they meet all the basic eligibility criteria. As for admission to UG programs one shall pass a higher secondary examination along with a passing marks of 45%. The minimum duration needed to complete the UG programs at SGVU is 3 years. However, students can take a maximum time of 5 years to complete the same. 

Students who aspire to take admission shall enroll themselves by the last date of 31 December 2024*.  The course fee that is required to be deposited by the eligible candidates ranges between INR 50K to 75K. Each student can register by paying an application fee of INR 750. 

SGVU Distance Education PG Admission 2024

MCom, MCA, and MBA are the academic level programs offered at Suresh Gyan Vihar University distance education for the academic session 2024-25. Students who are willing to pursue an MBA program can choose specializations like Banking Management, Branding & Advertising, Digital Marketing, Mass Communication, Risk Management, Strategic Management, International Marketing, etc. PG programs can be generally completed in 2 years. Those students who fail to complete in the respective time can take a maximum duration of 4 years. 

Online registration is open at SGVU distance education allowing students to apply until an expected last date of 31 December 2024. A basic eligibility one needs to get enrolled to any PG program is to have a bachelor’s degree in a relevant stream with a minimum aggregate of 50% marks. SGVU DDE has set the total tuition fee that may range between INR 64000 to INR 86000. INR 750 is a registration fee that needs to be paid while getting registered.

Students can choose to apply for admission either online or offline mode. Those candidates who choose to apply online need to visit the official website of the SGVU DDE. Given below are the simple steps that needs to be followed while applying online: 

Step 1: Students shall choose the course they want to apply for by visiting the official website of SGVU. 

Step 2: At first download the prospectus and go through all the points like the eligibility criteria, last date, fee structure and more. 

Step 3: Once you meet all the criteria, move forward and click on the “Register Now” tab. 

Step 4: Enter all the information like applicant’s name, ID proof, phone number, and email address. 

Step 5: Proceed further and enter your new applicant Id and password to log in. 

Step 6: Now, fill out all the information accurately like educational and personal sections. 

Step 7: Once you fill all sections, move forward and upload all the required documents. 

Step 8: The documents uploaded shall be in the same size and format as mentioned in the guidelines.

Step 9: Now, make a payment of an application fee using the available mode of payment. 

Step 10: Once done check out all details and make changes if required. 

Step 11: Click on the “Submit Button” for the final submission. 

Step 12: Download the application for future reference.
